You are a fabulous mother and a strong and beautiful woman.

I too, worked when my children were growing up out of economical need and their only babysitters were either hubby's or my mother. They are now well adjusted, amazing, productive adults who are full of love and free spirited individuality, just as we raised them to be.

Always live your life your own way and remember that you don't have a damn thing to feel guilty about but much to be proud for. Now I will hush. ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-58149839332139770452011-06-10T09:37:05.686-07:002011-06-10T09:37:05.686-07:00Great post. I have been meaning to write one from the other perspective as we have some visiting working moms here at the college now and they judge me all of the time. The year that I worked when Elias was a baby was such a juggling act I give you big props for doing it everyday.Shelbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00167808200278212092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-48301897013059062832011-06-09T06:11:42.777-07:002011-06-09T06:11:42.777-07:00Thank you all for your feedback! My Mama stayed home with us and how she managed not to lose her damn mind, I will never know.Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17141594330508299140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-59347946418989046012011-06-08T18:20:14.931-07:002011-06-08T18:20:14.931-07:00Wow, I don't know how you do everything you do...Wow, I don't know how you do everything you do in a day!! Somedays I don't have enough energy to get up, work my job, make a crappy dinner for the family then go to sleep. How you manage to jog, do laundry, make food (multiple times a day), work and have quality time with your kids is so beyond me it's in outerspace! LOL. I think it's safe to say you do a lot more than a lot of SAHMs so don't even fret about their judgy comments! You rock.kijjethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15012610901974235865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-18385537479446239022011-06-08T13:25:22.984-07:002011-06-08T13:25:22.984-07:00You are super mom, hun. We didn't do daycare either, but even leaving them with family is HARD. I am lucky enough that I get to be home now, and I do feel for you, but not because I think you are doing anything wrong by working. Just because I know it's hard when you'd rather be home with the kiddos.~*Gumbo Soul*~https://www.blogger.com/profile/14518911340823293426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-54380960295578948272011-06-08T11:08:04.520-07:002011-06-08T11:08:04.520-07:00Stay At Home Slave....LOL!....love that one. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to stay at home with their children. Of course every parent wants to do that, but this is R-E-A-L-I-T-Y. People have to work to get paid. The end. I think you're doing a great job juggling everything. The only thing I would suggest is to take a hot bath and have a glass of wine, because damn girl, you're a busy woman!Dreaming of Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07376540826699551259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-74446021305465170592011-06-08T10:09:02.094-07:002011-06-08T10:09:02.094-07:00Girl, everyone has different ways of living their ...Girl, everyone has different ways of living their lives, including decisions regarding whether they are going to work after kids or not. Sometimes, those decisions are made for us, and sometimes they are not. The bottom line is how much love our kids get. I don't think it matters if mommy works outside the home or is a SAHS (stay at home slave) like me, love is where it's at yo.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3861524779770164339.post-53202440118498563052011-06-08T10:03:36.277-07:002011-06-08T10:03:36.277-07:00Your "juggling" act is with love and pur...Your "juggling" act is with love and purpose and I applaud your hard work at being the best you that you can be.
I have no idea why folks don't check their thoughts before they vomit them out of their mouths. My Mother always told me to not be "ugly" and I have taken that to heart, I hope and try to be kind to all...I have scars on my tongue to prove it. But to say anything unkind to a Mom is BS.
Keep on keeping on my dear, I admire you and your strength of purpose.
The Olde BaggOmaLindasOldeBaggsandStuftShirtshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09589622524456973822noreply@blogger.com
